Tea Geek Events for 2009

Tuesday, October 27th, 6 pm
Tea Tuesday Join Tea Geek in the teacher's lounge of the Phinney Neighborhood Center (in the Blue Building) for an informal tea tasting and educational tour of tea. On a pay-what-you-can basis, attendees will get to sample artisan teas from around the world, learn where they come from and how they're made, ask questions, and have a good tea time. Sunday, November 8th, 2 pm
Tea Traditions Virtually every culture in the world has some kind of tea tradition. We'll look at some of the oldest and most famous tea traditions, from China, Japan, Britain, and the United States--as well as how the different approaches to tea developed. $10, includes light refreshments.
