Tea Tuesday Join Tea Geek in the teacher's lounge of the Phinney Neighborhood Center (in the Blue Building) for an informal tea tasting and educational tour of tea. On a pay-what-you-can basis, attendees will get to sample artisan teas from around the world, learn where they come from and how they're made, ask questions, and have a good tea time. Location and directions: www.phinneycenter.org Space is limited, so those who reserve get priority, but walk-ins are welcome if there's room. Reserve with an email to: teageek (at) teageek.net

Sunday, October 11th, 2 pm
Oolongs and Blacks Just in time for Halloween, listen to some tales from the world of tea! There are scary dragons, gruesome disfigurements, and a clever disguise that brought an empire to its knees! Plus, you'll get to sample some teas and learn about what makes oolong and black teas different (and so popular)! $10, includes light refreshments. To register, contact The Hawthorn Tea room
