Unlike most Lapsang Souchong tea on the market today, Zhengshan Xiaozhong is from the original small area in the Wuyi mountains where both Lapsang Souchong and black tea in general were first reputedly made.  In fact, Zhengshan Xiaozhong means "Main Mountain, Small Type."

The process used for this tea includes a light smoking for a complex, nuanced, and layered flavor, not an overwhelming burst of smoke.  Can be rebrewed a second time for a lighter but generally good quality brew.
