Green tea is the original form of drinkable tea, and this sampler will show off some of the most famous and popular forms of this ancient and healthy beverage! We've carefully chosen four teas to represent the two primary green tea producing countries, as well as a range of facts that differentiate greens from each other, like plant varietals, which leaves get picked, geography, and more!

With your teas, you also get information on the teas, how they're processed, where they come from, and brewing and tasting tips! Your sampler comes with 1 oz. each of the following, unless a listed tea is out of stock or out of season, in which we'll select something similar of equal or better quality.

* Sencha, a deep green tea in both dry leaf and brew, this tea is the most common tea in Japan. Its flavor is vegetal and evokes the marine hints of sushi and sea breezes.

* Longjing, also known as Dragonwell, perhaps the most famous green tea from China. This is a pan-fired green with flat leaves and a distinct nutty flavor.

* Hojicha, a roasted Japanese green tea, has a deep toasted/charcoal flavor and can include pieces of stem as well as more mature leaves.

* Mao Feng, made from very curly and delicate leaves, is made in China and has a more sweet-and-vegetal flavor than Longjing.

All four teas can be brewed more than once, making 80 cups of tea or more from this sampler! That's less than a quarter per cup!
